RG 650

The RG 650 is a Classe Mini 6.50 production boat and the first one to be built in the southern hemisphere by RioTechna in Argentina. This boat was built by a specialized team under strict quality control standards established by the Classe Mini organization. The design includes a high performance chine hull with a high aspect ratio sail area for a very stable but powerful boat.

Classe Mini 6.50

The Classe Mini 21’ sailboats depart France every other year with one goal in mind-to cross the Atlantic Ocean. With a history dating back to the 1970’s, this class sees up to about 90 boats compete in this epic solo ocean race. The class is split up between production (box rule with fixed keel, aluminum mast) and prototype (limited restrictions, include canting keel, foils, and carbon mast). The production boat is an excellent way to race competitively while reducing excessive costs.
